These are the places that inspire me and the work I have created from being in them. Please have a browse around and get in touch if you have any comments or would just like more information. I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much as I have enjoyed making it.
Some of my recent work is available to buy in my Etsy Shop. If you see something here that you like and it’s not in the shop, please send me an email as most of my work is available. I’m also very happy to take on commissions for original artwork. Just send me your details and I’ll be in touch to arrange a conversation.
Green Man
This is an ongoing series of work based around the roof bosses at Norwich Cathedral, exploring the relationship between the iconography and the natural landscape
The Butterfly Effect
This is the installation I presented for my Degree Show at Norwich University of the Arts 2016. It comprises of screen printed, hand cut, paper butterflies, suspended on silver thread from a tree branch. These form a cloud which seems to pour out of a brick and concrete rubble nest. The piece was made to bring a feeling of enchantment to the wild places within our urban landscapes and to inspire the viewer to renew their relationship with these vital habitats.

A selection of paintings from my degree years
Wild in the City
This is an ongoing project made of spontaneous encounters with wildlife in urban landscapes and those unexpected snatches of land that have been allowed to grow wild. These are the places expressed by The Butterfly Effect.
Foxley Wood
Foxley Wood is the largest remaining ancient woodland in Norfolk and a rich habitat for wildlife. It is a coppiced woodland and looked after by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Although it is a managed woodland, it wraps you up and turns you around in the wildwood of fairytales. It has a deep sense of wildness and I go there when I need to immerse myself in Nature.
Cromer
"I need the sea because it teaches me [...] What it taught me before, I keep. It's air ceaseless wind, water and sand." Pablo Neruda, The Sea
Botanica
I am fascinated by the natural world and can't resist showing off its beauty at every opportunity. This collection of images comes mostly from the gardens at Blickling Hall in Norfolk.
Light Painting
This project began with making drawings with light at Caistor St. Edmund to try to express a sense of enchantment in Norfolk's ancient landscape. The project developed into capturing artificial light in the city, creating enchanted landscapes.
